1942: A Family Beginning

The Spinagle family purchases the property, beginning a deep-rooted connection to the land that
spans nearly 100 years.

The Farm Years

Before it was a resort, this land served as the family farm, where the values of hard work and
community hospitality were first cultivated.

1996: The Course Opens

Cliffview transforms into a premiere 18-hole Covington golf course, offering breathtaking views
and a new way to enjoy the Jackson River landscape.

Today & Beyond

Now a thriving mountain wedding venue in Virginia, Cliffview continues to grow with a seasonal
brewhouse, unique lodging, and year-round events.
